Why this page exists
Agency websites tend to be frozen brochures: rebuilt every two years, untouched in between, and full of claims nobody can check. This site is the studio’s own product, and it is released the way we release client work — in small, dated increments, each one tested before it goes live.
If something here is wrong, broken or slower than it should be, it is a defect on our own backlog and you are welcome to report it.
Releases
Founder’s Corner, studio reel and the reference library
- Founder’s Corner added to the homepage and the About page, with the founder’s portrait and message.
- Studio reel: a six-scene, thirty-two-second introduction drawn in the browser rather than shipped as a video file.
- Glossary published — thirty-eight definitions with machine-readable DefinedTerm markup, so an answer engine can quote a single entry and attribute it.
- Three comparison pages published: AI sprint vs full build, specialist studio vs staff augmentation, buy vs build.
- Accessibility statement published, including the gaps we have not closed yet.
- This build log and the live service standards page.
Ambient layer, discoverability and the new footer
- Footer rebuilt as four bands: closing call, inline tools, sitemap columns and a status base.
- Website X-Ray moved into the footer so any page can be scanned without leaving it.
- Ambient light layer behind the dark sections, with a Calm mode switch that is remembered per browser.
- Reading-progress bar, and film grain at a level that survives a contrast audit.
- E-E-A-T layer: author attribution, freshness dates, an answer index on long pages and related-reading cards drawn from the site’s own knowledge base.
- Core Web Vitals now measured from real visits, cookie-free.
Booking, reliability and the Karachi studio page
- Consultation booking with real availability, calendar invitations and double-booking protection.
- Reliability layer: scheduled health checks, delivery auditing for every outbound email, retry for anything that failed, and alerting when it does.
- Karachi studio page published, with the studio address and local contact number.
- WhatsApp contact route added for the Pakistan and Gulf audience.
- Per-page branded share cards generated on the server.
- Review collection system: verified requests, held for approval, never invented.
Axis design system and the full-site quality sweep
- Axis design layer applied across the site: one type scale, one colour system, one set of components.
- Every page template checked programmatically for colour contrast at desktop and mobile widths, in light and dark schemes; failures fixed rather than logged.
- Server-side translation into seven languages, with correct language attributes and right-to-left rendering.
- NOVA assistant connected to the site’s own knowledge base, in chat and voice.
- Independent cookie consent built in-house, replacing the third-party banner.
Before this log
Entries begin when we started publishing them, not when the studio started. ASTACKRA has been building since 2020; what changed in September 2026 is that the changes became public.
What is queued
Work that is committed but not yet shipped:
- An independent accessibility review by someone who uses assistive technology daily.
- Case studies carrying real artefacts — architecture decisions, measurements, and what we got wrong — rather than summaries.
- A public compliance pack: data processing terms, sub-processors, retention periods and incident response.
- A client portal for project status, decisions and deliverables.
- Short product walkthroughs recorded against the live systems in our work section.
Nothing is listed here as a plan unless it is genuinely intended. When one ships, it moves up into the log with a date.
